• Recruitment of volunteers both for regular and one off projects
• Help with the identification and development of new volunteering opportunities, projects  and services
• Provision of information advocating good practice relating to volunteers and volunteering
• Use of our in office volunteering and community resource library and photocopying facility
• Information about and whenever possible delivery of training programmes

We believe that everyone has the right to volunteer without experiencing unfair discrimination and that volunteering is a matter of free choice; that volunteering is a valuable, integral part of society and therefore volunteers deserve support and recognition; volunteering should be open to as wide a cross section of the community as possible.

Volunteer Centre Thornbury is part of the South Gloucester Volunteer Agencies Partnership and South Gloucestershire Voluntary Sector Steering Group and a Quality Accredited Member of Volunteering England.
