The opportunity

GlosSFM, previously known as Thornbury FM, have a website which is up and running but now needs updating and maintaining. They are looking for a volunteer who is computer literate, has an interest in the Internet and has time to spare. Someone who wants to be involved in the community but who doesn't necessarily want to be on a committee or attend meetings. Duties could include: changing the name, updating presenter profiles, putting in links for sponsors and advertisers etc. Full training given.

The organisation

We provide a wide range of local interest radio programmes for four weeks, twice each year. covering community participation in areas which include health, recreation, education, commerce and local democracy. To support the broadcast we have teams handling recruitment, promotion, programming, advertising, fund raising, technical and youth issues.
