The opportunityVolunteers undertake various duties according to the type of project they are enrolled on. Types of international volunteer projects include conservation, restoration, archaeology, construction, arts, children's play-schemes and teaching. Volunteers live and work within an international group of volunteers coming from all over the world. Volunteer projects last 2-4 weeks with fixed dates. Volunteers usually work 5 days a week for 5-8 hours a day, with 2 days off. Working hours change according to the country, the project and the location.Most projects run between June and September, although we also offer projects in winter and spring. The organisationOur International Volunteer Programme offers volunteers aged 18+ the opportunity to join international teams of volunteers working on short-term projects in over 60 countries worldwide. A selection of projects is available for teenagers aged 16 and 17.
