The opportunity

To enable our clients to attend meetings at the centre we require volunteer drivers to transport clients from their homes to the centre and back to their homes.

The organisation

Our 3000 volunteers are involved in:
Stopping people losing their sight unnecessarily,
Supporting more people to live independently and
Creating an inclusive society sooner for everyone

Volunteers work with blind and partially sighted people in their homes and the community, as well as at RNIB offices. Volunteers are involved in many different projects, from service delivery, to planning and user participation

Skills/Qualifications

You must be over 18, have a full licence, a valid MOT certificate and proof of insurance.

The role requires a CRB check.
