The opportunity

Volunteers will work with small groups of young people to encourage them to engage and create drama ensuring that all members of the group are included in the creative process. Where appropriate volunteers will also be given the opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of the weekly sessions. Also looking for musicians who wish to work with young people at different stages of learning to play an instrument or sing.They meet on Monday evenings between 7pm-8.30pm.

The organisation

Weekly drama sessions for young people encouraging confidence and creativity through creating and performing. These also enable them to develop skills in performing as well as developing confidence and creativity.

Skills/Qualifications

Ideally volunteers will have some previous experience of working with young people and/or theatre. However training is provided so enthusiasm and patience are the most important qualities.
