The opportunity

Teenage Cancer Trust is partnered with Home Retail Group, the parent company of Argos and Homebase, until July 2012. Together we are raising much needed funds for our specialist services in the UK and the Republic Of Ireland. This money will go a long way in helping young people fight cancer across the country.

The Argos catalogue launch is taking place over the weekend of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of July this year and as many volunteers as possible are needed to bucket collect and raise awareness of Teenage Cancer Trust across the UK and ROI.

Ideally, they are looking to recruit a minimum of 2 volunteers posted in each Argos store in Bedminster, Bristol City Centre, The Mall, Bristol Imperial Park. All volunteers will be provided with training, supervision and support as well as the all important buckets and sashes.

The organisation

We build specialist units in NHS hospitals where young people with cancer are treated with others their own age, in an environment suited to their needs.

Skills/Qualifications

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and outgoing personality
Resourceful, able to work on own initiative.
