The opportunity

Are you proud of your community but sick of seeing litter dirtying the streets? Then this is your chance to do something about it.

Cleanup UK helps groups and individuals to organise clean ups of their local area as part of Keep Britain Tidy's national 'Big Tidy Up' campaign. We now need volunteers to work with us in the Calderdale area on a short-term basis to encourage more people to roll up their sleeves and organise clean up events, working together to help create greener, cleaner communities.

We are looking for positive, enthusiastic people; good communicators who are willing to use their skills to energise others to take action to make their area a better place to live.

You'll be part of a friendly team with all the support you need, we'll pay your expenses; give you the opportunity to learn new skills and you'll get to know some great new people! Also, you don't have to do this on your own, we'd be very happy if you encouraged one or two of your friends to join you.
